See that shiny new link up top? I have a new website!!! I’ve spent a lot of hours and late nights getting it put together, and aside from minor tweaking here and there, it’s live!

In the process of switching overto the new layouts, my last photo session blog got lost in the shuffle. I am reposting the images because, well…. they’re just too dang cute not to!

Are you wondering why I now have a blog AND a website?

The blog will be for news, updates, sneak peeks, etc. The website is where you will find my portfolio, session information, investment details, and my schedule.

The last bit of change is my logo! I am horribly indecisive about those sorts of things, and I had a very difficult time deciding on one that suited my style and represented the type of work I do. I wanted modern, but not too modern because that gets dated. I wanted something cool…..but not too cool, because I am classic as well. I kept coming up with ideas, and quickly trashing them. Why is it so hard to be unique? And then it hit me.

Unique. We’re all unique. We all have that something special about us, and that is what I hope to capture every time I spend time with my clients.

So there you have it. My new logo. It symbolizes the uniqueness of us all, and my love  for capturing it with camera in hand.

I’ve recently aquired some fabulous new baskets, hats, and blankets and I’ve also got a few new poses in mind so I need a couple of children to model for me!

Casting the following:

Single newborns or multiples (twins, triplets, etc) are welcome. Baby must be under 10 days old on the day of the session.

Child who is 7-10 months old and not yet walking.

Female child aged 3-6, must not be shy and must enjoy having her picture taken

What you get:

• Complimentary in-home session (no session fee charged!)
• One free 8×10
• Any additional images you would like to purchase are 50% off regular prices
• You are not obligated to purchase anything

In return, I’ll need a model release signed allowing me to use the images on my website or for printed advertising.

The goal of these casting call sessions are to get images of the poses I have in mind only. However, if you’d like to book a full session, session fees AND print prices will be discounted 50%.

Little boys hold a special place in my heart….I have 3 of my own and it’s been a long time since they were this small!

Little Ethan was my music man. Boppin’ to classical while chompin’ on cheese and Cheerios…..what more could a person ask for?! He was a delightful little guy, and thankfully Mom and Dad didnt mind me rearranging their living room!

I’ve come to realize that it’s a good thing the camera is never pointed in my direction during these sessions, as I tend to turn into a total clown by the end….giving all new meaning to the phrase “Dance Monkey Dance!!!” ♥
